Rangesh Vittal is an ALM candidate in Management at the Harvard Extension School. Rangesh is originally from California and has an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering. Rangesh briefly worked in the medical technology field before attending Harvard. He is currently a Research Aide focusing on Corporate Finance and Strategy. Rangesh wants to continue and pursue a career in finance.
Rangesh grew up in California and later moved to India. This exposure to different cultures gives him a good understanding of the diverse student body of HES. He has worked briefly in a marketing role at a startup. He was the 2012 2nd place winner of the General Electric Edison Challenge where he had to pitch a product idea. Rangesh also won an award for a designing a Food Stamp distribution system from the Prime Minister of India.
As the Director of Outreach, Rangesh wants to focus on building HESA communities catering to both distance and local students. He is focused on bridging the gap many students feel as a distance student. As Director of Outreach he wants to ensure that HESA and its resources are able to reach out to all Extension School Students.
He is an avid reader (can always find him in a library) and loves to cook and travel. Rangesh currently lives in Boston, MA.
