Volunteer with fellow Harvard Extension School degree candidates at East End House, on Jan. 5.

East End House community center uses a holistic approach to promote the well-being, academic achievement, and successful transition to adulthood of children and youth from under-resourced families in Cambridge and surrounding communities. As part of the approach, East End House provides support services to a diverse population, from infants to seniors, to strengthen family and community. Learn more at http://eastendhouse.org/

Volunteers will participate in either the after school program or the child care program.

After school program:
3 pm – 4 pm: Homework time help
4 pm – 4:45 pm: STEM and/ or Park time
4:45 pm – 5:30 pm: Club activities

Child care program:
3 pm – 5:30 pm: Reading and engaging with students

We invite any and all with a heart for service to join us in this work. Please arrive promptly for an orientation to the program and its policies.

A few days prior to your volunteer event, you will receive an email with further information from the HES Student Clubs & Activities Office. Please take time to review the materials prior to attending.
