I also agree with the other commenters. Secondlife offers content and feature rich environment that is actually very fun. I’ve visited the Second Life Harvard replica and it’s quite stunning. I’d vote for this as a place for a virtual House in addition to the current Extensionstudent.com avenue which is in use currently (albeit in an informal way). I am extremely impressed by this year’s administration and leadership. Rham and Andre sure are pulling off great things. Thanks for doing all that you do HESA!

I agree with Steve. I’m currently taking my second course that utilizes Second Life (MGMT E-5330), and it does provide a great alternative for those of us who are distance students to have a “virtual community.”

Why not use the virtual world of Second Life as one component. This could potentially provide a feeling of community especially to geographically dispersed students. I have taken two courses (LSTU E-118 and CSCI E-4) which utilized Second Life extensively and the experience was greatly enhanced.
